If applicable, inmates booked after 8pm will have their bond set the next day.

Cash bonds up to a certain amount may be deposited in kiosk located in the front lobby of the Fayette County Criminal Justice Center Monday through Friday 8:30AM to 4:30PM.
There are many bonding companies certified to assist with posting bonds at the Fayette County Detention Center. A list of eligible companies and agents is available to inmates.
The Prison Rape Elimination Act (PREA) of 2003 is a federal law established to address sexual abuse of detainees in the custody of U.S. correctional agencies. PREA applies to all correctional facilities, public and private, including prisons, jails, juvenile facilities, community confinement facilities, and Immigration and Customs detention (ICE) facilities.
Beginning 1 January 2025 all incoming inmate mail will be sent to an offsite facility for scanning. Inmates must use a Viapath Tablet to access mail beginning 1 January 2025.
No physical mail, newspapers, books, magazines, etc. will be allowed.

If you have been issued a misdemeanor citation please bring the following when you report for booking:

NOTE: You will not be processed without the booking fee and will be turned away. There are no automatic teller machines in the Jail Lobby or anywhere at the Criminal Justice Center. Please plan accordingly.
You may obtain proof of your incarceration either in person or through the mail. Once you have presented valid identification, you will be provided with a document stipulating your name at the time of the arrest, booking number, date of arrest, and release information.
